Campaign Overview: Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay takes on local Singapore hawkers!

To raise awareness for Singtel’s food website hungrygowhere.com, a group of chosen food hawkers squared off against popular UK Chef, Gordon Ramsay.

The cook-off with some of the best hawkers in Singapore comprised of dishes like chilli crab, chicken rice and laksa! The entire experience was taken to the next with the public voting for their favourite dishes, on-site performances and a meet & greet with Gordon Ramsay where many queued to compare and sample his dishes!
12 sheet interactive screens and the 7 outdoor digital screens helped drive publicity in high traffic areas. On the day of the event, the challenge was screened live on various digital screens at bus shelters and outdoor screens at partner malls.

The results? It was a national sensation that increased Singtel’s brand awareness by 23%!
The hashtag ‘#HawkerHeroes’ trended for four days, with 288,500 unique visitors to the site hungrygowhere.com, making for a gastronomically memorable experience!
